Founded by

Vuyo Twala

Punk Coffee Roastery was established in Bahrain in 2019. After closing during the COVID-19 period, the vision was relaunched in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2024 as Punk Coffee Roastery SA and the International Coffee Academy.

Founded by Vuyolwethu Mathews Twala (Vuyo Twala), the academy shares professional coffee knowledge with students across South Africa and around the world.
